Taking family photos has always been something that felt high pressure and stressful, but Chessa made the experience incredibly light hearted, fun and so easy. From her choice of venue based off inspo pictures to her calm and collected demeanor behind the camera, Chessa is a true pro. She helped us to creatively problem solve when our baby got fussy, she rolled with it when we had silly ideas to try and pulled out all the stops to make sure our vision came to life. The end result was BEAUTLFUL! We will always cherish the photos Chessa took and are forever grateful to her!

Shooting with Chessa is so freeing and affirming. She let who I am and how I carry myself shine through in a way that so few photographers have done with me in the past, even the ones I worked with before I started presenting more genderqueer. It wasn’t about projecting an idea onto me or fitting me into an existing idea, and the photos that we got let me see myself as ME!
